What do I do when I'm not at my desk, eating or sleeping?
Fish keeping
It all started not too long ago. Maybe 6 years ago my girlfriend got me a goldfish and a small tank for Christmas during my final year in college. When I finished college I sought out a job in Fish Antics of Monkstown where I learned more and more about fishkeeping. Seeing as I've always been allergic to cats and dogs I figure fish have to be the perfect pet. Plus you don't have to bring them for walks!!
I have 4 aquariums at the moment. In my main aquarium I keep African Cichlids, mostly fish from Lake Tanganyika but I also keep a breeding trio of Cyrtocara Moorii (the blue dolphin cichlid) from Lake Malawi. These mouth brooding cichlids hatch eggs in their mouths and release up to 70 fry every 4-5 weeks!
My other tank is a small 60L planted tank in the fireplace. It contains miniture dwarf clawed african frogs, lots of small shrimp that breed regularly, and one of my favourite fish: a queen nugget plec (Baryancistrus sp. L177 pic)
Robots
I have a collection of toy robots. From the old style wind-up Japanese tin robots to the new functional newer ones that do stuff. Photos to come.
Engrish tee-shirts
Engrish: You all know those funny food products that are way off the mark, or have you seen those sign posts that make no sense. Well I collect the tee-shirts. Here are some of my oddest and favourites.
A strange Penny-Farthing style bicycle with the caption "I like bicycle to his office every morning" - brilliant.

Not really Engrish as such but this was a strange one to stumble into in a small port town in Thailand, a predominantly Buddhist country which still, for some reason, produces t-shirts to celebrate Jesus!"
Found this little gem in Thailand too. It's actually quite a nice stylish tee-shirt but has to have the worst Engrish I've ever had the joy of reading: "KENT KIRKLEY THE SYMBOL OF T-SHIRT NEW COLLECTION STYLE
DESIGN FOR NEW GENERATION LIKE YOU" I love it. What are you wearing? Oooh a KENT KIRKLEY, Fabulous daahling!
